Verstappen: “I am happy above all”

The only pilot able to compete against the Silver Arrows, Max Verstappen was unable to do anything this Saturday at Istanbul Park. Not yet really adapted to the particularities of the Turkish track, the driver Red Bull was content with 3rd place in qualifying which allows him to start 2nd due to the penalty de Lewis Hamilton.
« The first part of qualifying was tricky given the track conditions but we managed to manage it well compared to where we were yesterday (Friday), underlined the Dutchman at the end of the session. The laps were pretty good overall. I may have lost a little time on the straight in my last attempt even if it was not with this lap that I hoped to fight for pole. Nevertheless, we are correcting the situation compared to the day before even if it was the maximum we could do today (SATURDAY). I will start 2nd tomorrow (Sunday). Let's see how the weather develops during the evening but I'm happy above all ».
