Verstappen: “The Halo is the result of an overreaction”

If the Halo must have been favorably received by the F1 paddock in the name of safety, Max Verstappen regrets this implementation which harms the appearance of the single-seaters.

Verstappen: “The Halo is the result of an overreaction”

upcoming season and his current situation at Red Bull. The Dutchman is coming off a difficult season even if he was able to end the year with a series of good performances allowing him to turn the page on his numerous mechanical problems previously encountered.

The teammate of Daniel Ricciardo also commented on the introduction which he clearly does not view favorably.

" Look at the MotoGP. Hitting 350km/h with the risk of falling is dangerous! Our sport is safer. We have harnesses and all the cockpit protection around us. What should we do? Put a roll bar around their motorcycle? The Halo is the result of an overreaction... We can also all live like mummies by staying in bed...", the Red Bull driver commented to AUTOhebdo.
