Verstappen didn't think about fighting for pole

If he was close to the Silver Arrows in practice and during the first two qualifying sequences, Max Verstappen was not able to worry Lewis Hamilton ni Valtteri Bottas in Q3. Nothing surprising for the pilot Red Bull, delighted with his 3rd place after the disappointment at Monza seven days ago.

« I never thought of being involved in the battle for pole even if this weekend is very promising, especially after the failure at Monza. I think we can be very satisfied with this third place ».

Satisfied with third position on the grid, Max Verstappen was less so with his first fast lap in Q3. “ My first attempt wasn't great, I knew I could do better. The second was better but the wind got involved ". Insufficient to hope to threaten the Mercedes in their struggle.
