Verstappen penalized after collision with Hamilton

Besides the victory of Daniel Ricciardo (McLaren), the Italian Grand Prix was marked by the new episode involving Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes). Then in the fight at the start of the 26th lap of the race, the two men touched each other at the first turn and ended up on top of each other in the gravel trap.

After noting the incident between the two drivers and hearing them, the race management found Max Verstappen guilty. As a result, the championship leader received a 3-place penalty on the grid for the Russian Grand Prix (September 24 to 26), the next meeting of the 2021 season.
Although Max Verstappen defended himself from insufficient space left by his counterpart, the commissioners ultimately decided in favor of Lewis Hamilton.
« Commissioners observed on CCTV footage (cameras) that the driver of car #44 was taking a path to avoid it, even though his position caused car #33 to hit the curb. Additionally, the stewards observed that car #33 was not at all next to car #44 until it entered turn 1. Regarding the penalty, the stewards clarified that they only considered the incident itself and not its consequences », Writes the FIA in its report.
In addition to his 3 penalty places, Max Verstappen had 2 points removed from his license, bringing his total to 2 over the last 12 months.

Verstappen has not forgotten the way Hamilton took it out at Silverstone and without any penalty for him. Hamilton now knows what he has to expect, don't forget Hamilton's gap in front of Verstappen at the start of the chicane, he's a little fed up with these guys who shouldn't be touched, of course it's He's a good driver but in terms of mentality there's better, when I see him in the pitlane with his scooter, taking long strides, and Angela running alongside carrying all her gear it shows the volume of his ego. You will have understood for me it's a racing incident, the same at Silverstone.

Red Bull and Verstappen are totally responsible for this accident and they know it. Win at all costs? Without the halo this evening Lewis Hamilton would have been declared dead at the Monza circuit. Lewis had more chances than Ayrton who died at Imola in 1994 at Imola.

Obvious, logical, normal, even if ultimately it's not a lot to pay for. Truly a GP like no other, because a penalty logically applied and almost proportionate as it should, I don't remember it!!!
