Yesterday (Friday), I only managed to complete four or five laps (due to a mechanical problem. Ed.) ! Today, I still had to get the circuit into my head and know it by heart. I also had to find a good balance on the car.

“To be so competitive in qualifying is surprising. This is not an easy route to memorize. Obviously you always want to be on pole, but I think we did a good job. We have a great opportunity for the race. Our top speed is good, the car handles well, I'm looking forward to it. »

Overtaking opportunities could be rare in the race, given the poor state of the Florida asphalt. “Apart from the normal trajectory, the track is quite dirty. A lot could happen during the event, but it will also depend on how the tires react. It seems that temperatures will increase…”
