Verstappen apologizes for insults on the radio

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) stood out on Sunday during the last Hungarian Grand Prix. After only six laps, the Dutchman had to retire, most likely due to a breakdown of his MGU-K Renault, which provoked rather florid anger, with a good number of insults:

The next day, the winner of the recent Austrian Grand Prix made his mea culpa on Instagram. “The disappointment is still there. Nevertheless, I shouldn't have used those words in the heat of the moment. Emotions are very strong just after a good start to the race. »

Max Verstappen then explains that this rage stems from the mechanical failure of the supplier Renault, which forced him to abandon the season for the fourth time. “This frustration comes from yet another unexpected engine failure. There have been too many of these in recent years.. We arrived in Budapest with high expectations, and not being able to be competitive is hard to swallow. »

Hello atmosphere with the French engine manufacturer until the end of the year!
