Verstappen on Mercedes: “They showed who they really are”

The clan of Max Verstappen don't lose your temper. Two weeks after the Dutchman's big accident in “Copsis”, the championship leader responded in a virulent manner to journalists when the subject was raised.

So yes I find it a lack of respect and in a way they showed who they really were. »

The two title contenders nevertheless called each other a few days after the accident, as Max Verstappen confided at a press conference. “Yes I was able to speak with Hamilton of the accident. He called me the week after the race but I won't tell you what we said. I'm not happy to have lost so many points to another driver but that's how it is. »

The two men are separated by 8 points in the championship while the F1 is approaching the mid-season mark.
