Vettel would have wanted more to conclude with Red Bull

Sebastian Vettel will have experienced one last difficult ordeal with Red Bull at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Left the pit lane with his teammate Daniel Ricciardo, the four-time world champion had to complete a comeback race following the disqualification of the RB10. But the German took longer than the Australian to get back into the points and ultimately had to settle for 8th place between the Force India and the Ferrari. “I felt we could do better but I got stuck behind Kevin (Magnussen) in the first rounds. So I'm not completely satisfied with my race. »

The replacement of Fernando Alonso at Ferrari experienced a difficult final season with the Milton Keynes team, after four seasons where he dominated the field of F1. “The last six years have been wonderful. We didn't expect this at the start of our relationship. You can never expect to win four Drivers' and Constructors' titles in a row. I have built some great friendships after all this time. We went through good days and bad days, we got through them together. I think I learned a lot. I want to thank Red Bull and the team for everything they have done. I will miss them. I feel ready for the next step. »
