The German GP does not smile at Sebastian Vettel who will still have to wait to achieve his first victory on his land. The pilot Red Bull had taken second place before being demoted to fifth position following a 20-second penalty imposed by the stewards for overtaking Jenson Button (McLaren) carried out outside the limits of the track. The German may regret having lost time when Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) passed him again as he quickly came back to the leader Fernando Alonso (Ferrari).
Sebastian Vettel does not understand the maneuver of the Briton who, although he was the fastest on the track, was one lap behind the leaders. “That was not classy of Lewis, I don’t see why he was fighting with us.”, commented the Red Bull driver who did not yet know that he was going to receive a penalty. “He should have backed up and left a gap if he wanted to go that fast. It was stupid to fight with us when he was one turn away. If you want to go quickly in these circumstances, you must understand that you have no chance of winning and have common sense. I didn't expect him to attack me and I was surprised to find him by my side. »
