Vettel: Ferrari should finish ahead of Red Bull

Without any victory in 2016, the Team Ferrari is looking forward to 2017 where the new regulations may allow it to catch up. If the Mercedes have been almost untouchable this year, the Italian team was also beaten by Red Bull Racing who finished 70 points ahead.

Sebastian Vettel, whose last victory dates back to the 2015 Singapore Grand Prix, does not hide the fact that disappointment prevails in Maranello.

“This year has had its ups and downs, but it didn't live up to our expectations and it could have been much better, recognized the four-time world champion. We didn't manage to get enough points at the start of the year. »

“We remained in a very close fight with Red Bull until the end of the season, but we had a better package and we should have taken 2nd place in the Constructors' Championship, regretted Sebastian Vettel. The biggest disappointment remains that we were unable to fight with Mercedes. »

Sebastian Vettel should continue to defend the colors of Scuderia Ferrari in 2017 alongside Kimi Räikkönen even if the four-time world champion has been cited as a possible replacement for Nico Rosberg.
