Vettel: Ferrari must do better at Monza

La Team Ferrari has moved closer to Mercedes during the second practice session of the Italian GP, but the performance gap is still too big to Sebastian Vettel who fears seeing the W08s remain at the forefront throughout the weekend on the land of the Prancing Horse.

“We know they are very fast here after the last two years because it is a circuit for engines and that is where their strengths lie, commented Sebastian Vettel in the Monza paddock, quoted on ESPN F1. We made good progress but we didn't really compare our performances. We focused on improving the car because there is still a little missing. »

Mercedes has reason to be optimistic at the Italian GP since the star-studded team has three victories, including two doubles.

“We know we have to improve because they are very fast, regardless of the circumstances, and what we saw corresponds to what we expected. We have room to improve and we should find a good pace if we find a few areas to improve,” added Sebastian Vettel.

Sebastian Vettel remains in 3rd place at the Italian GP where he finished between the Mercedes and his teammate Kimi Räikkönen.
