Vettel dissatisfied with the balance of his Ferrari in Melbourne

Sebastian Vettel held his place by finishing the second practice session of the Australian GP between the Mercedes de Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas. The resident of the Team Ferrari finished half a second behind the Briton's W08, only 9 thousandths ahead of the Finn's Silver Arrow.

If these results could satisfy Sebastian Vettel, the four-time world champion is still dissatisfied with the performance of his SF70H.

“We had some small problems this morning which kept us busy, but the afternoon session went much better, commented Sebastian Vettel, 6th in morning practice. I am not entirely satisfied with the balance of the car. There is clearly room for progress. »

Ferrari still needs to do better

Sebastian Vettel has the feeling that the Ferrari SF70H can still make progress throughout the weekend on the Albert Park track in Melbourne.

“We were quite comfortable with what we had achieved (in Spain) and that feeling of comfort is lacking a little here, but it will come, added Sebastian Vettel. We'll try other things tomorrow and I think we'll save time. Despite everything, we have made significant progress compared to last year, even if the settings do not yet suit me 100%. »

Kimi Räikkönen reinforced the good impressions of Scuderia Ferrari by taking 4th position during EL2, ahead of the Red Bull RB13 Daniel Ricciardo et Max Verstappen.
