Vettel gave Ricciardo no chance

“I was able to breathe a little with the safety cars, but the pressure remained high behind me”, declared the four-time world champion. “Daniel had a very good race. He kept his tires very well, which made things a little technical at the end of the stints. I dictated the pace in the second, keeping in mind that overtaking is difficult on this circuit. I was then able to control my lead and it worked. »

After Malaysia in March and Hungary in July, Sebastian Vettel celebrates his third success of the year and is eight points behind Nico Rosberg and 49 units behind Lewis Hamilton. “If we have more weekends like this, I still have my chances. But we only have to worry about our job by attacking as much as possible. That Mercedes This fact is not our responsibility. We have a small chance and maybe we can make the impossible possible”, added the German.
