Yes, we have a very good car. I felt very comfortable in the car. My time in Q3 was very good. Unfortunately not good enough to beat Jenson! He took pole from me in the last minute. But, second on the grid is really good, especially since we had difficulties on Friday. The whole team is to be congratulated for the work done on the car. Especially since some parts arrived late, this meant that the team had to work day and night.

You must be satisfied that developments in the Red Bull-Renault ?
Yes, of course, even if these developments are not gigantic. But you know, small parts can have big effects on performance. Our teams have worked very hard to improve the car. Friday, it was difficult with the car, which lacked balance. It was already much better on Saturday morning. In qualifying, things went very, very well.

Did you also need a few runs to achieve your best times?
Yes, it's true. I only need one outing on hard tires in Q1, and one outing on soft tires in Q2. In Q3, the car was still running very well. After my last lap, I thought I was perfect. My engineer tells me on the radio that I am on pole but that there are a few cars left, before telling me that I am finally second. I was a little disappointed. But I'm on the front line, that's what counts. I am very happy with this result.
