Vettel satisfied, despite sensor problems at Red Bull

“We had a good day. Even if Friday isn't the most representative, it's always good to be at the front. I think we had a decent day, but not completely peaceful. There are still things to resolve on the IT side. We learned a lot overall, I'm happy. » says Sebastian Vettel at the end of a day on Friday, where the Red Bull RB10 did not experience any major problems, although there was concern at one point for the German after only nine laps completed in FP1.

For its part, Daniel Ricciardo experienced a small scare at the very end of the second session, with a big off-piste but without consequences, the Australian having not hit anything with his car. On the other hand, his RB 10 fell prey to new sensor problems, failing in particular in EL1, as Christian Horner indicated to Sky Sports, despite new sensors fitted to the Austrian single-seater. Similar problems affected the sister team Toro Rosso.
