Vettel wins, Red Bull misses the double

From Spa-Francorchamps, the Formula 1 knows only one winner. Her name ? Hag ! The now four-time F1 world champion won in Texas under the noses of his opponents.

“I never tire of victories, announced the German. I am very busy, especially maintaining the gap with second place. I have to match my pace to theirs, it?s never easy. One day people will talk about what we are achieving as a team. The car is reliable, we give our all every weekend without missing a single stage. Each race represents a challenge, it is difficult to believe in the series that we achieved,” admitted the native of Heppenheim.

To the great joy of Christian Horner who celebrated his 40th birthday this weekend, the 2013 world champion crossed the finish line with a little more than six seconds ahead of Romain Grosjean. The team Red Bull narrowly missed the double, Webber finishing third, two seconds behind the Frenchman.

“The pole position was important but I was not able to set the best time in qualifying. Our start was not bad but we were overwhelmed by Grosjean and Hamilton outside the first turn, explained the veteran Australian. Même avec le DRS, Grosjean était impossible à dépasser car il était très propre à la sortie du virage 9. C?est ma dernière fois ici en F1 mais on se revoit l?année prochaine avec Porsche, » he said to the crowd present this weekend.

For his final season in Formula 1, Mark Webber only has one possibility left to win for the tenth time in his career. If he wins at Interlagos, the Red Bull driver would record his third victory in Brazil after those of 2009 and 2011.
