Vettel overcomes his disappointment

Sebastian Vettel, like all pilots, and especially in Formula 1, likes to drive as often as possible. We particularly remember his frustration when Red Bull forced him to stay in his pit during free practice for the Grand Prix at the end of summer 2009, to save his engine. Therefore, Red Bull's decision not to attend the Valencia tests, from February 1 to 4, upsets the vice-world champion, who nevertheless tries to be positive.

Sebastian Vettel will have less driving time but remains convinced that the car will only be better when it leaves the workshops later. “ Obviously it's disappointing, he confides to F1.com. But we will have twelve days of testing with our new car, which is enough. It's much better to spend time in the wind tunnel and on the design of the car, so it suits me perfectly. »

The German driver takes the opportunity to reiterate his ambition to become world champion, even if it is difficult to make predictions until the new cars have been rolled. “ My goal is to win the championship as soon as possible. This is why I am here and I will do my best and fight to the end for this. But it?s difficult to imagine anything before the start of the tests. After the Bahrain race we will know more. 2009 was a good year for me, and now I'm working very hard to do even better this year »
