Vettel still without “answer” despite his chassis change

In Barcelona, Sebastian Vettel only came within 2 thousandths of a second of Q3. With a new chassis mounted on its car, the German seemed more comfortable but history was repeated once again and he had to settle for a sad 11th place on the grid.

« The first sector was OK but in the second the car became more and more nervous. I had difficulty in turn 7, losing the rear in particular. It was therefore difficult to judge the speed to adopt. 5 was also tricky (...) Then in the last sector it improved but it was complicated to find the right balance He regrets.

And despite his new chassis, Sebastian Vettel does not feel completely comfortable behind the wheel of his SF1000.

« To be honest, there are ups and downs. There are points on which I cannot provide an answer. I still try to do everything I can, ignore all the things that might not be good, and do my best. That's all I can do for now ».

This Sunday, Sebastian Vettel will start 11th on the starting grid and confidence still does not seem to be restored between him and his mount.

The Spanish Grand Prix is scheduled for 15:10 p.m. and will be followed live on our website via our live text.
