Vettel wants to turn the page on Singapore

Sebastian Vettel does not want to be affected following his retirement at the Singapore GP. While the pilot Ferrari had the opportunity to regain the lead of the Championship by starting from pole while Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) started further on the grid at Yas Marina, the four-time world champion retired, taking his teammate Kimi Räikkönen and Max Verstappen (Red Bull) with him at the first corner.

“Every start is different. The one in Singapore was very unfortunate for all three of us. It’s done but it’s regrettable. In any case, I am almost certain that it will not influence the next one”, said Sebastian Vettel in the paddock of the Malaysian GP in Sepang.

“It would have been even harder if I had given up during the race. There's not much we can do about it, it's part of the race. This isn't the first time I've found myself in this situation and it's probably not the last, but I hope it doesn't happen again. There's no point in dwelling on things over and over again. I can use my time and energy better. »

Sebastian Vettel will have to do better than last year at Sepang since he retired last year after a collision at the start of the race.
