Will the hierarchy seen during winter testing be the same as at the Grand Prix, or will we already see some changes? While testing usually takes place a few days before the first Grand Prix at the same circuit, Ramadan forced organizers to shift the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia rounds to April, thus placing three first Grands Prix between testing and the Bahrain GP. This will give us a first idea of how the various teams have (or have not) improved their cars in Australia, China, and Japan.
Last of the winter tests, Haas was a team that seemed to exude confidence, having not taken to the track with Pirelli's softest tires. Arriving in Australia, the American team was still stuck at the back of the grid. China and Japan, however, saw a turnaround in the situation, with fifteen points scored. What will happen for the return of the F1 in Bahrain? Finally, Aston Martin and mainly its pilot Lance stroll are also enigmas, the Canadian having largely held the fort by scoring points in Australia and China, but being totally absent in Japan, last in qualifying as well as in the Grand Prix.
