VIDEO – Daniel Ricciardo’s arrival on horseback in the Austin paddock

But its connection to Texas is perhaps even stronger. Is it because the picturesque and sassy charm of the Texan state reminds it somewhat of the very arid Australian outback? Still, he is a lover of the region, something he has often reminded us of during each of his appearances here, dressing like the locals, star-studded leather jackets on his shoulders and a perfectly erect hat on his head. . 

« I have just experienced two long and sad years without Austin in my life! », he joked last year when arriving at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), after two years without a visit. So for what could sadly turn out to be his last United States Grand Prix, he who will probably not be on the grid in 2023, Daniel Ricciardo pulled out all the stops when he arrived in the Austin paddock. No scooters at the Lewis Hamilton, or golf cart but… an arrival on horseback, with the perfect cowboy gear. At his side, a musician joins him on his walk, guitar in hand, for a melodic stroll! Formula 1 will miss Daniel Ricciardo!
