VIDEO – Max Verstappen makes a mistake at the start of qualifying in Melbourne

Disaster scenario for Red Bull et Max Verstappen at Albert Park. In the opening minutes of qualifying, the four-time world champion made a mistake in the first corner. Although not violent, his off-track excursion occurred at high speed. While the Dutchman emerged unscathed from his carHowever, he was seen testing the mobility of his wrist after the impact. According to the driver, the cause was a sudden lockup of the rear axle.

Forced to start from the back of the grid, Verstappen leaves the field wide open for his rivals. He will nevertheless position himself ahead of the Williams de Carlos Sainz, whose running was limited in EL3 and the AMR26 of Lance strollwho will not be taking to the track during the qualifying session.
