5. 2011 British Grand Prix

In the running for second place at Silverstone (Great Britain), Sebastian Vettel must defend his rank against Mark Webber. Problem: the Australian's engineer asked him to maintain a gap of 3,5 seconds with his teammate. “I chose to ignore the stable's orders, since I wanted to move up a rank”, defends Webber, who tries twice to find the opening, without success.

“Not bad for a No. 2 driver! » This is Mark Webber's reaction after winning the 2010 British GP at Silverstone. The Australian felt disadvantaged throughout the weekend due to a front wing problem.

The new version had been introduced for testing; However, Sebastian Vettel broke his in Free Practice 3, and Christian Horner decided to give the last remaining wing to the German, even though it was reserved for Webber.

Enough to provoke his anger after the qualifications: “One of the two sides of the garage was not going to be happy, and I acted logically by favoring the best classified in the championship”, the Team Principal justifies himself.

3. Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2018

It had to happen! Since the arrival of Max Verstappen in Red Bull During 2016, the Dutchman experienced some great battles with his teammate Daniel Ricciardo. But in Baku last April, the youngest winner of a GP dragged the Australian into his fall. The two colleagues bickered for several laps, before Ricciardo hit the rear of the RB14 in a contentious maneuver.

“The drivers screwed up,” according to Christian Horner. “I don't think we need to blame it, at the end of the day we race for a team, we represent a lot of people and when that happens it's not good for either of us.”, says Verstappen.

2. 2010 Turkish Grand Prix

This is the incident that ignited the dust between Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. The two men are fighting against the duo of McLaren since the start of the GP race held near Istanbul (Türkiye). After the pit stops, the German decided to attack his teammate to take the lead, but fell back too quickly.

Right rear tire flat, Sebastian Vettel gives up, mad with rage. Mark Webber finished third. “ I was in front and concentrating on braking when we touched. Mark hit my right rear wheel and I went out. Watch TV and you will understand”, defends Vettel.

“He turned to the right and I couldn’t do anything because I didn’t see anything coming”, Webber justifies. “Mark didn't give him enough room and Sebastian turned too early. Responsibility is shared”, assures Christian Horner.

1. 2013 Malaysian Grand Prix

The climax of the clashes between Red Bull drivers is reached at Sepang (Malaysia), second round of the 2013 season. In the lead after the last pit-stop, Mark Webber (on hard tires) follows his team's instructions to take care of his mechanics. Just behind, Sebastian Vettel, equipped with medium tires, is getting dangerously close. “Be careful Sebastian, be careful”, his engineer on the radio reminds him. Vettel must stay behind Webber, that is the order.

But the three-time world champion doesn't hear him and roughly attacks Webber! “It’s stupid Seb” thunders Christian Horner on the radio of n°1. Webber even gives him a middle finger from his cockpit. “Multi 21” asserts Webber near the podium, in reference to the code of the order given previously. “I should have known, it’s not the first time”, explains Webber in conference.

Vettel made a mistake, but this act will have the effect of undermining the morale of Webber, who will not sign any victory thereafter. Vettel will be champion with a series of nine consecutive victories.
