Announced as an event, the presentation of the VR-01 – Virgin Racing’s first single-seater – disappointed. The internet broadcast was canceled due to a technical problem. But the car exists!

Virgin Racing misses its presentation

A “OOOOPPPSSSS” accompanied Virgin Racing’s apologies a few minutes after the presentation, “almost” behind closed doors, of the VR-01 at Silverstone.

Driven this season by Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi, the VR-01 was entirely computer designed using fluid dynamics simulation solutions.

Alvaro Parente and Liuz Razia are the test drivers for this new team.
