Your Formula 1 driver ratings for the 2024 season

Now that you know our pilot report card F1 for the 2024 season – which can be found right here – it’s time to discover your own ranking! After the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, We asked you to rate the 24 drivers having started a Grand Prix this year with a score ranging from 1 to 10, and here are the results of your votes!

Unsurprisingly, it is Max Verstappen which received the highest score from several hundred votes, with an average of 8,27 for the four-time world champion. If the Dutchman was not as popular as in 2023, where he obtained the incredible score of 9,01 at the end of a record season, he logically remains, according to you, the best driver of the year.

Behind, it was very tight between Charles Leclerc et Lando Norris for second place, but this went to the Monegasque who obtained an average score of 8,00 with his three prestigious victories in 2024, against 7,95 for the Briton who certainly lost a few points because of the missed opportunities to play for the title this season.

For the rest of the ranking, you have notably placed Pierre Gasly in 6th place with an average score of 7,31. The Frenchman finished the 2024 season with a bang and managed to raise Alpine in 6th place in the Constructors' Championship. Esteban Ocon, he is 11th in your ranking with a score of 5,88, despite an early dismissal before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

On the other hand, AUTOhebdo readers were uncompromising regarding two drivers in particular: Lance stroll (2,89) and Sergio Perez (2,70) who obtained the worst marks of the season among the drivers who participated in all the Grands Prix. You also gave a mark to the interim drivers who only contested part of the 24 Grands Prix of this season. For you, the best interim driver of the year was Oliver Bearman, who scored points in two of his three Grands Prix including six in his first race, in Jeddah with Ferrari. On the other hand, Logan sargeant is the worst driver of the year according to you: the American, thanked mid-season by Williams, gets the abysmal score of 2,17!
