Webber awaits McLaren and Alonso in Melbourne

Red Bull did not reveal his game in Barcelona since Mark Webber only set the sixth fastest time on the last day of testing of the week after completing 85 laps of the track. Rival top teams, McLaren and Ferrari, did not show themselves at the forefront either even if the Team admitted to having fallen behind in the development of the F2012. The Australian prefers to concentrate on his work with the RB8 so that the new car Austrian is ready to compete for victory from the start of the season in Melbourne.

“As long as Fernando has a wheel, he will always be a serious competitor, we can never put him aside”, says Mark Webber. “I think McLaren is pretty well prepared. We have a lot of work to do in Milton Keynes over the next few days to prepare the car for the next test and there will still be a lot of work to do before Melbourne. The last test was delayed by a day, which will make the first meeting of the season a little more difficult, but we have still gathered a lot of information over the last two weeks and I am positive for the first race of the year. »
