Webber angry at the illegality of the RB8

Mark Webber saw his victory at the Monaco Grand Prix threatened by the FIA's decision to ban notches located on the flat bottom near the rear wheels of RB8s. If the car was deemed illegal, the results of Red Bull remain valid. Furthermore, the Austrian team insists that this development did not bring any real gain to the car's performance. If Mark Webber agrees on this point, the Australian is against the Federation's decision and fears seeing his success on the Rock be discredited. The Red Bull driver lived up to his reputation and did not mince his words to express his dissatisfaction.

“I don’t think I would have realized that the flat bottom had been changed.”, commented Mark Webber at a press conference in Montreal. “We are optimistic that there will be no difference behind the wheel. You won't believe me but we had developments in Valencia, including disrespectful violations of the regulations. As for winning races with an illegal car, I'm happy that people talk to me about many things and criticize my way of driving, but I don't want to talk about the illegality of the single-seater. To be honest, it pisses me off! »
