Webber in favor of limited DRS

DRS will, from this season, be limited to authorized areas both in racing and in practice and qualifying. A decision that pleases the Australian Mark Webber: “I think it’s a good thing, said the pilot Red Bull. The drivers have been pushing for this for quite a while, to have DRS only in the sections where we have it in the race, during qualifying. It didn?t really make sense for the teams, drivers and fans to race on Friday and Saturday with DRS open. It just added a little more risk."

The Australian driver still admitted to having kept some reflexes from the previous season: “I still use DRS in some places, so I'll have to get used to it again. »
