Webber returns to Red Bull

Mark Webber is riding the wave of success. In doubt at the start of the season, following his cycling accident which broke his leg, the Australian had a magnificent half-season. Third in the championship, Mark Webber obtained five podiums in nine races and gleaned the first victory of his career at the Nürburgring. With the young Hag and the experienced Webber, Red Bull has a duo of complementary drivers, deciding to keep the same men for 2010. At the end of his contract this year, Mark Webber sees his lease continue for one year within the Austrian team, which made it official in a press release .

« I am very happy that Red Bull and I were able to reach an agreement to race together next year, said Mark Webber. Even when the results were less good, when I started working with the team, I always enjoyed working with them. We have an exciting end to the season ahead of us, but I'm also looking forward to contributing to the development of the RB6, and racing with it, in preparation for the 2010 championship. »
