Webber wants to stay in F1 beyond 2013

Last weekend, Mark Webber took his ninth victory in Formula 1 taking advantage of Fernando Alonso in the final laps of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. In 2013, the Australian driver will begin his seventh year of collaboration with the Austrian team, a story which began in 2007.

« This summer I'm going to be 36, so people often ask me if I'm going to retire, but I don't think about that at all, Webber says. This contract only lasts one year, but I want to stay longer in Formula 1. I am closer to the end of my career than the beginning, in this situation you want to take advantage. It's a huge challenge to get the most out of a Formula 1 car and I'm racing alongside the best drivers in the world. »
