The team Williams will she reform the legendary tandem with Renault next season? If this hypothesis seems to be making headway in the paddocks of F1, the team, through Patrick Head, the co-owner of the team, indicated that it had not yet made its final choice.
If this first option were validated, this would allow Franck Williams' team to collaborate again with the engine manufacturer Renault with whom it won several world titles in the 90s, notably with Nigel Mansell, Alain Prost, Damon Hill or Jacques Villeneuve.
If nothing has been decided yet, however, the team has already ruled out the option Mercedes. She would still hesitate between the French engine manufacturer and a newcomer, Cosworth. If this last option were retained, the field for the 2010 season could then be made up of five teams using this engine: Campos, Manor, US F1, Lotus F1 and therefore Williams while the FIA regulations stipulate that an engine manufacturer cannot equip more than four teams. To be continued?
