Williams raises his head

The FW36 was the hardest on the track today with 116 laps completed by the Finn Valtteri Bottas. Enough to partially erase yesterday when Felipe Massa was delayed by a problem with the fuel system. “It was a good day. » explains Bottas. “ After yesterday's problems, it's good to complete 116 laps. We have a lot of work, but we have been able to work on the aero of the car and even complete a racing simulation. As a result, we collected valuable data. There is still a way to go, and it would be nice to repeat days like this. »

For Rod Nelson, chief test engineer, performance still remains to be achieved. “It’s good to see that the car is reliable, but we still have to see the possibilities of the car. Every time we ride it, we understand it better and better. We tried several aero elements today before running a race simulation. »

Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa will both be behind the wheel of the FW36 tomorrow.
