Yasuhisa Arai replaced at Honda

Returned to the discipline last year through the return of the legendary duo formed with the team McLaren, the engine manufacturer Honda will carry out in the coming days a restructuring of its organizational chart concerning in particular the project F1. In a press release published this Tuesday, the firm indicates that Yasuhisa Arai will be replaced by Yusuke Hasegawa to supervise the development and management of the F1 project, starting March 1. McLaren and Honda had a difficult first season last year, marked by poor reliability and a lack of performance from the Japanese V6 turbo/hybrid Power Unit. The first runs of 2016 were, however, rather positive for Woking, with Jenson Button accumulating 84 laps yesterday, more than in four days at the same time at Jerez in 2015.
