Zak Brown: “We’ve been chasing Ricciardo for a few years”

Mclaren racing made a coup by managing to attract Daniel Ricciardo for the 2021 season. The Australian will take the place left vacant by Carlos Sainz Jr who will go to Ferrari replacing Sebastian Vettel.

Zak Brown, the managing director of the British team, told Sky F1 that his team was already interested in the driver's potential Renault for a while.

“We had been chasing Daniel for a few years and we just missed him, admitted the American businessman. So we had been fans of Daniel for a while.
