Zero points for Ferrari

The races follow one another and are similar for Felipe Massa and Kimi Räikkönen, who after two Grand Prix have not scored a single point. Scuderia Ferrari had not accustomed us to this and did something unusual to say the least, more than performance it was the strategy which was sorely lacking this weekend among the reds.

Zero points for Ferrari

Disappointment is the order of the day at Ferrari, but how could it be otherwise! “We are very disappointed, because we are once again leaving the circuit without scoring a single point,” analyzes Stefano Domenicali, director of sports management at Ferrari, before sounding the alarm. “Looking back, it’s obvious we made some bad decisions, especially with Kimi during his first pit stop. We had information announcing the sudden arrival of a storm, although it did arrive, but much later. We have to analyze the situation and get out of it without panicking, but each of us has to take responsibility: we have to dig deep to see what is wrong in order to react. This should start immediately. We must change our mentality and accept that we are in a different situation compared to the past. We therefore have to approach things in a different way, both on the track and on the track. Maranello »

Luca Baldisseri, responsible for track activities, is not much more positive. “This is another disastrous race and we cannot have the slightest excuse. Once again today we tried to guess what could happen and each time the opposite happened! In the dry our pace was not exceptional, but it showed what our true potential was today. Now we must try to put things back in place in order to quickly get out of this situation. »

Scuderia Ferrari is not yet in crisis, but it wouldn't take much more for this worrying situation to take on other proportions?
