They will almost all be able to aim for the title. This weekend, the TCR Europe series starts its 2020 season with 24 cars, a nice contingent in the current context.

The French team JSB Compétition will enter three cars. The boss-pilot Julien Briché, reigning vice-champion, will this year aim for the crown in his Peugeot 308 TCR. His son Florian and the gentlemen Jean-Laurent Navarro will also be there.

Four other Peugeots will compete at Paul Ricard entered by Team Clairet Sport. They will be driven by brothers Jimmy and Teddy Clairet, Stéphane Ventaja and Gilles Colombani.

The champion team in 2019 Target competition will field three Hyundai i30 N entrusted to Andreas and Jessica Bäckman as well as John Filippi.

Well known in WTCR, Mehdi Bennani will drive an Audi RS 3 LMS for the Comtoyou Racing team.

The series is experiencing strong renewal, since among last year's top 7, only Julien Briché (2nd) and Andreas Backman (4th) will be present in 2020. The Frenchman Nelson Panciatici notably left for GT World Challenge Europe.
