24 Hours of Spa - Mercedes n°88 - AKKA ASP makes a mistake in warm-up

The warm-up organized before the Super Pole of the 24 Hours of Spa was prematurely interrupted after Raffaele Marciello (Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°88 - Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP) went off the track.

24 Hours of Spa – Mercedes n°88 – AKKA ASP at fault in warm-up

Contested just before the Super Pole of the 24 Hours of Spa, scheduled for 18:47 p.m., today's warm-up in Belgium lasted only eleven minutes. In question, the exit of the track of Raffaele Marciello, aligned on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°88 – Mercedes-AMG Team AKKA ASP, after Les Combes.

The Italian driver appears to have lost control of his vehicle alone, before hitting the wall and damaging his Mercedes at the front left.

The leading car from Jérôme Policand's team, second in 2016 and third in 2017 at Spa, will therefore not participate in the Super Pole, reducing the field for the pole win to 19 cars.
