In this period of general confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic, announcements related to motorsport unfortunately often rhyme with postponement or cancellation of events.
This Friday, the promoter of Nascar Whelen Euro Series have announced good news with the reveal of the entry list for the 2020 season.
33 cars will be at the start, with 17 teams taking part. CAAL Racing and Feed Vict Racing, Jacques Villeneuve's team, will operate four cars, just as DF1 Racing is already preparing its four Chevrolet Camaros. A fifth car will also be entered in collaboration with Marko Stipp Motorsport
A technical agreement was also signed between the double champion Italian team and Solaris Motorsport to support an additional car.
Hendriks Motorsport, for its part, will field three cars while Alex Caffi Motorsport, RDV Competition, PK Carsport, 42 Racing and Braxx Racing will put two cars on the track. Memphis Racing, Mishumotors, Marko Stipp Motorsport, Team Bleekemolen and TC Motorsports complete the grid with one car each.
