Absent from the first round of the Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) 2019 in Australia in February, Honda will compete well in the remaining four events this year. During the 8 Hours of California (March 28-30), three factory drivers will line up in an NSX GT3 in its Evo version: Bertrand Baguette, Mario Farnbacher and Renger van der Zande.
So happy to take part in the @IntercontGTC this year! I will compete in events at Laguna Seca, Spa-Francorchamps, Suzuka and Kyalami. This a very exciting moment for me as it means I'll be racing the NSX GT3 Evo as well as the Super GT NSX GT500 this season! #Sling #IGTC pic.twitter.com/JzmeTzmip9

“My first experience with the Honda NSX GT3 dates back to the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) last year in the Pro-Am class, underlines Bertrand Baguette, who will contest also the Super GT with the Japanese brand. It was a fantastic event, but racing in the Pro category raises the bar. »
Mario Farnbacher knows the NSX well having led it to the GTD title in Imsa in 2018. As for Renger van der Zande, the Dutchman had the honor of debuting the Japanese machine on the streets of Macau in 2017 as part of the FIA GT World Cup.
