AKKA-ASP completes its third crew in the Endurance Cup

AKKA-ASP has formalized its third trio for the 2019 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, with Nico Bastian, Felipe Fraga and a newcomer: Timur Bouguslavskiy.

AKKA-ASP completes its third crew in the Endurance Cup

A few hours before the official Blancpain GT Series tests kick off at Paul Ricard, AKKA-ASP confirmed his third trio for theEndurance cup 2019.

Jérôme Policand will trust in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°90 a crew composed of Nico Bastian, Felipe Fraga and Timur Bouguslavskiy. Bastian is a regular at the Rabastens team, having won the Silver Cup crowns in 2018 in the Sprint Cup and in the GT Series general classification.

Felipe Fraga was already in the Mercedes fold last year, having taken part in the last three 2018 Endurance Cup rounds (including the 24 Hours of Spa) with Strakka Racing, not to mention his participation in the 10 Hours of Suzuka in IGTC (also with Strakka) and in IMSA (Little Le Mans 2018 and the 24 2019 Hours of Daytona).

The Brazilian is also a Stock Car specialist in his native country, a series where he won the championship title in 2016.

As for the Russian Timur Bouguslavskiy, his career has spanned the LM P3, but also the one-make GT series, he who has just won the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East.
