AKKA-ASP in sprint and endurance with Jules Gounon

He will be back home. Jules Gounon took his first steps in a Mercedes several years ago with the AKKA-ASP team. Now the brand's official driver, the Frenchman joins Jérôme Policand's team for a full season in GT World Challenge Europe.

AKKA-ASP is entering the No. 3 Mercedes-AMG GT88 in the pro category in the endurance rounds, in the hands of a top-class crew. Jules Gounon will be accompanied by the faithful Raffaele Marciello, pole-sitter at the 24 Hours of Spa last year, and the returning Daniel Juncadella, new Mercedes factory driver.

In the sprint, last year's crew of Raffaele Marciello and Timur Boguslavskiy will be carried over to the No. 88. The Russian, reigning champion in the general classification, will try to reach a new milestone. A second Mercedes will appear, entrusted to Jules Gounon and newcomer Petru Razvzan Umbrarescu, a Romanian driver.
