Alpine presents the A110 Cup

While the news Alpine A110 finally leaves the workshops, the French brand has unveiled the racing version of its model intended for the A100 Cup.

This Alpine A110 Cup will be powered by the standard 1.8l turbo developing 260hp and will have a six-speed sequential gearbox. The weight of the car is set at 1050kg and the tank will have a capacity of 65l. It will have a steering wheel similar to those installed on the LMP2s. The chassis has been reworked to be adapted to the needs of competition. The tires will be supplied by Michelin and the brakes by Brembo.

Alpine will launch a series called Alpine Europa Cup which will offer 12 races spread over six meetings and contested across five countries. Each meeting will include two qualifying sessions and two races, offering a running time of three hours.

The season will begin in June at Paul-Ricard (Var) alongside the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup. The second meeting will take place the following month in Germany. L'Alpine Europa Cup will return to France the same month on the Dijon-Prenois circuit (Côte-d'Or) before moving to Silverstone (Great Britain) on the sidelines of the International GT Open. The season will continue at Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) at the same time as theELMS. The final will be contested in October in Barcelona (Spain) at the same time as the International GT Open.
