Aragon, C3 – Björk winner, Ehrlacher still leader before the final

Cyan Racing sees life in blue this Sunday, November 1st at Motorland Aragon (Spain). The Swedish team scored a double in the final race of the day, thanks to its home driver, Thed Björk.

The last world touring champion (in 2017 on Volvo) converted his second place on the starting grid into success thanks to a better start than the pole sitter, the Belgian Gilles Magnus (Audi).

The Uruguayan Santiago Urrutia finished second, and put in a great performance, finishing the trio of races on the podium! The podium is completed by the veteran Gabriele Tarquini (Hyundai).

The first Frenchman classified is Nathanaël Berthon in his Audi. Forced to retire in Race 2, Jean-Karl Vernay (Alfa Romeo) made up for it by finishing 6th, and came back tied with Yvan Muller (Lynk & Co) for third place in the general classification.

The championship leader, Yann Ehrlacher (Lynk & Co) misses the top 10 (12th). In his misfortune, the Alsatian only lost a handful of points to his rival for the title, Esteban Guerrieri (Honda, 10th). The two men are separated by 27 points before the final, scheduled for Aragon in mid-November.
