Broc Feeney (Chevrolet Camaro-Triple Eight Engineering) seems untouchable this season. The young champion of the second division of Supercars (2021) is dominant in qualifying and in the race. At the 14th round of the season, he finished 4th, showing himself at the forefront, always staying in the slipstream of the drivers who threaten him most in the general classification. Whether it's Will Brown or Chaz Mostert (Ford Mustang-Walkingshaw Andretti United), they are unable to make a difference with their 22-year-old junior. Ryan Wood, Mostert's teammate, takes the first victory of the weekend. He is ahead of Brown, Mostert and Feeney.
Feeney unchallenged for races 15 and 16
The Gold Coast native enjoyed a regal Sunday with two uncontested victories. Intelligent behind the wheel, Feeney is able to dial in his performance. He's aggressive when the situation demands it, and he also knows how to preserve his equipment to save tires or fuel at the end of the race. In a championship where tire wear plays a crucial role, Feeney, despite his young age, proves himself an expert in the matter. With these two victories, he brings his total number of wins in 2025 to five. He is the logical season leader with 1181 points, ahead of his teammate Will Brown by 72 points. Fifth-placed Chaz Mostert is 301 points behind. Reaching the top spot on the podium seems to be getting more complicated for the Mustang driver.
The next round of the Australian Supercars Championship is scheduled for Darwin from June 19 to 22.
