It was another very eventful race this Sunday morning. From the start, front row drivers Brodie Kostecki (Ford Mustang- DJR) and Anton de Pasquale (Chevrolet Camaro- Team 18) went straight into the first corner. Kostecki managed to maintain the lead while de Pasquale fell down the standings. The next corner, Ryan Wood (Ford Mustang- WAU) knocked the 2023 champion off the line. Like the day before, the race was punctuated by numerous collisions! At the halfway point, Matt Payne led ahead of Cameron Hill (Chevrolet Camaro- Matt Stone Racing) and Thomas Randle (Ford Mustang- Tickford Racing). A few laps from the checkered flag, Chaz Mostert (Ford Mustang- WAU) managed to retake third place from Kostecki, who finished 4th in this 10th round of the season.

In the championship standings, and despite another difficult race (P8 this Sunday), Will Brown (Chevrolet Camaro- Triple 8) retains the championship lead ahead of Cameron Waters (Ford Mustang- Tickford Racing) and Matt Payne. The next round of the championship is scheduled for May 9-11 in Tasmania.
