Bentley formalizes its lines for Spa, Pipo Derani as reinforcement

Bentley motorsport put all its assets on the table to hope to triumph for the first time in the Ardennes during the 24 Hours of Spa (July 27-28).

Something confirmed since this Friday, since the four trios have been made official. On the n ° 107, no change compared to the pilots entered for the year in Endurance Cup, since Jules Gounon, Jordan Pepper and Steven Kane, the latest winners at Paul Ricard, will logically be at the wheel of the Continental GT3.

On the No. 108, Bentley had been “rotating” since the start of the season, to compensate for the sudden departure of Vincent Abril to AKKA-ASP. If Alex buncombe had driven the GT3 at Monza and Silverstone, Callum Macleod succeeded him at Paul Ricard.

But ultimately it will be Buncombe who will ride on the No. 108 with the cockpit regular Maxime Soulet and Markus Palttala. The latter takes the place ofAndy Soukek passed on n°110 with Lucas Ordóñez and Pipo Derani, the latest driver confirmed to join the Bentley adventure at Spa.

“I tested the Continental GT3 last month and it's different from anything I've driven before, but I got used to it very quickly, specifies the Brazilian, who has just come out of 24 Hours of Le Mans, contested with Risi Competizione (with Jules Gounon and Oliver Jarvis on the Ferrari 488 GTE Texas).

I can't wait to get back behind the wheel at next week's test and I'm looking forward to fighting for victory at the Spa 24 Hours. »

Finally number 109 will be entrusted to rodrigo baptista, resident of the Continental GT3 – K-Pax Racing in Blancpain World Challenge America, Seb Morris and Callum Macleod.

In addition to these four cars lined up in Pro, Team Parker Racing will enter an example of the English GT in Pro-Am for Ryan Ratcliffe – Glynn Geddie – Derek Pierce – Andy Meyrick.
