The Black Falcon team does not intend to do things by halves in the Blancpain GT Series in 2019. The German team, title holder Endurance Cup last year, will aim to defend his crown with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 allocated to Maro Engel, Luca Stolz and Yelmer Buurman.

Novelty, Maro Engel and Luca Stolz, in addition to their commitment to the Endurance championship, will participate in the variation Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe (formerly Sprint Cup), for a total of 10 rounds in 2019. The Dutchman Yelmer Buurman will join them only in Endurance.
A second Mercedes-AMG GT3 will be entered in the Silver Cup Endurance category. Hubert Haupt and Abdulaziz Al Faisal, regulars of the Black Falcon team, will be supported by Patrick Assenheimer.
The 2019 Endurance Cup season will traditionally begin at Monza (Italy) on April 13-14 while the Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe will launch at Brands Hatch (Great Britain) on May 4-5.
