Blancpain – AKKA-ASP recruits Felix Rosenqvist

Present in force on the Blancpain scene for this 2016 season, the team AKKA-ASP by Jérôme Policand will line up three new Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the SRO Motorsports Sprint Championship, including one in the Pro category for a crew that will look great.

French Tristan Vautier, seen in 2015 in IndyCar Series with Dale Coyne Racing and accustomed to evolving with Jérôme Policand's team, will be entered in the No. 88 alongside the Swede Felix rosenqvist, outgoing champion of the F3 European and which will also be present in Indy Lights within Belardi Auto Racing.

“These two top drivers, brilliant in car, will have a big challenge to face against the GT specialists, comments the team boss. Rosenqvist has an impressive single-seater track record at 24 years old. He is the only driver to have won in the three biggest F3 events, the Macau Grand Prix (twice), the Formula 3 Masters at Zandvoort (twice) and the Pau Grand Prix. These two young guns show great potential. »

The other two GTs displaying the star will be entered in the Pro-Am category and will be entrusted to the duos Morgan Moullin-Traffort – Jean-Luc Beaubelique on n°87 (already gathered last year in FFSAGT), And Jean-Philippe Belloc – Christophe Bourret on No. 89, also seen in 2015 on a Ferrari 458 Italia from AKKA-ASP.
