Blancpain GT – HTP in full, ROWE Racing towards an absence at Monza

After the opening of the Sprint Cup in Misano, Italy earlier this month, it will be the turn ofEndurance Cup to begin in just over a week at Monza. For the first meeting of the season, 54 cars are expected on track.

Winner on the banks of the Adriatic, the HTP Motorsport team will present itself as one of the favorites on the Italian Autodrome. THE Mercedes-AMG GT3 from Norbert Brückner's structure are also complete, since on the No. 84 Maxi Buhk and Franck Perera, winners at Misano in the Sprint Cup, will be supported by Jimmy Eriksson, third in the first main round of the year alongside Dominik Baumann.

The latter will find Edward Sandström and Fabian Schiller on the No. 85. The No. 86, entered in Pro-Am, will be shared between Michael Avenatti, Damien Faulkner and Mike Skeen. The star's last GT3 under the Mann-Filter – HTP banner will be entrusted to Dontje – Assenheimer – Heyer.

Faced with Mercedes, McLaren, with the 650S GT3s of Strakka Racing, will try to repeat the 2016 performance of Garage 59, winner at Monza with the trio Van Gisbergen – Bell – Ledogar. The latter two will be assisted this year by Ben Barnicoat.

Audi, Ferrari, Bentley, Nissan, Aston Martin, Porsche, Jaguar Emil Frey seront de la partie, tout comme BMW, qui ne comptera toutefois que sur les M6 GT3 du Walkenhorst Motorsport, ROWE Racing n’étant finalement pas de la partie.
