Blancpain GT – Le Castellet in dress rehearsal before Spa

This weekend will take place the annual edition of 1000km of Paul Ricard, in preparation for 24 Hours of Spa on July 29 and 30. To the usual crews of the Blancpain GT Series Added to this are the drivers who come to prepare for the double turn of the Belgian clock. This is the case of the crew of Audi Sport Team WRT n°1 with Antonio Garcia and the drivers DTM Nico Müller and René Rast.

Arriving with two victories in the last two endurance races, the No. 63 Lamborghini of the Grasser Racing Team is one of the favorites for the event with Andrea Caldarelli, Christian Engelhart and Mirko Bortolotti. However, they will have to be wary of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT n°5 whose Will Stevens and Dries Vanthoor remain on a victory in GTE-Am in the last 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Team AKKA-ASP reviewed the crew of the Mercedes-AMG n°88 since Tristan Vautier is detained in the United States. It is the Dutchman Renger van der Zande who will replace him alongside Felix Serralles and Daniel Juncadella.

The Paul Ricard 1000km race will take place on Saturday June 24 from 18:00 p.m. to midnight and will be broadcast live-streaming on the Blancpain website.
